The Executive Committee of the Nigeria Society for Sports Management (NSSM) expresses its profound gratitude to all members of the editorial board and the contributors to the volume 11 of the Nigeria Society for Sports Management Journal (NSSMJ). The increasing global competitiveness and rivalry in sports amongst individuals and nations coupled with the huge profitability in sports business has made the sports sector more relevant in global polity. The sports management discipline has emerged as the main driver of positive impact of the sports sector in nation building. This calls for a dynamic approach to sports management in Nigeria. Thus research in the field of sports management, as a fastest growing body in the nation becomes inevitable for effective sports management practice. Through journals and books in organization and administration, solutions to the teaming problems surrounding our sports industry can be readily made available.
